What is the difference between strategy and execution?
Strategy is what to do and why. Execution is how to do it. We do both, but our consultancy work focuses on the strategy side, defining ICP, positioning, channel strategy, growth model. Execution is what the practice teams deliver under the strategy.
Is this fractional CMO work?
Sometimes, depending on engagement. Fractional CMO is one shape of growth strategy work, typically 5-10 hours per week in an ongoing advisory role. Other shapes: project-based strategy engagement, quarterly strategic reviews, GTM planning sprints.
How is this different from generic marketing consulting?
Generic consulting writes recommendations and walks away. We write recommendations and have the practice teams to execute them, so the strategy is informed by what is actually deliverable. The plan you get is one we can execute, not aspirational.
Pricing for strategy engagements?
Range: $5K-$25K depending on scope and engagement length. Project-based strategy: $5K-$15K. Quarterly retainer (advisory): $3K-$8K per month. Fractional CMO: $8K-$15K per month. Specifics on the discovery call.
Do I need this if I have an in-house marketing team?
Often yes. In-house teams are great at execution but frequently lack the strategic outside perspective and vertical benchmark data. We work with in-house teams as augmentation, not replacement.
